Mental Health First Aid
Learn skills to identify the signs and symptoms of a mental health related crisis and the tools to help someone in need. You will learn about depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychosis and substance use disorders. Mental Health First Aid helps you to provide support when someone is experiencing a mental health challenge.
Psychological First Aid for First Responders
This training is designed for emergency and disaster response workers to help survivors cope with the psychological aspects of a traumatic event. Participants will learn strategies for managing intense emotions and promoting a safe, calm environment.
Workplace Bullying Prevention
Workplace bullying happens more often than people realize. Participants will learn how to define and recognize bullying in terms of victims, bystanders and bullies. Participants will develop skills to identify signs of bullying and how to intervene and stop verbal, social, and physical bullying in the workplace.
Family Engagement Workshops
A two-hour workshop where families get information about strengthening familial bonds and participate in fun, interactive lessons to improve communications skills.
Social Media Literacy
Learn tips about how to use online technology wisely and protect privacy and reputation through online social media networks. Discuss ways to resolve cyberbullying activity, online abuse, and how to responsibly and safely navigate social media networks.
