Adult Recovery Services

General mental health and substance use disorder treatment as well as services for persons with serious mental illness are offered at all three integrated service sites. Individual and group counseling are integral components of adult services and include relapse prevention, recovery, solutions, parenting, relaxation training, life skills, and anger management groups, among many others. The integrated sites provide a continuum of care to CODAC members through coordination of all levels of clinical services.

Methadone Services

An outpatient clinic that provides methadone maintenance, drug treatment and counseling services for opiate users and their families. Located at 3100 N. First Avenue.

 

Mothers Caring About Self (MCAS)

Myrna Garcia, Program Coordinator, 327-4505

An intensive outpatient, outreach, and case management program designed to serve the needs of pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders. In collaboration with CPSA, Compass Health Care, COPE Behavioral Health, and La Frontera Center.

 

Recovery Bridge
Darlys Heydon, Supervisor, 327-4505

An intensive outpatient treatment program for individuals with a simultaneous diagnosis of substance use and mental health disorders. Group therapy and health education is offered for twenty hours per week; treatment modules provide individualized options.

 

 

Recovery Support Center

A drop in center where CODAC members can receive information and education to build skills leading to independence in managing their own recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. The Recovery Support Center is member-led and open five days a week.

 

Safety Zone

Safety Zone is an after hours drop in center where CODAC members receive additional support in their recovery. The hours are from 5:00 pm to 9:00 am Monday thru Thursday and Friday 5:00 pm until Monday at 9:00 am.

 

Intensive Community Services (ICS)

ICS is made up of CODAC members who are participating (not by court order) in the following services: the Intensive Recovery Team (IRT), Residential Treatment, the Arizona State Hospital (AzSH)/ Extended Care Unit (ECU), and/or Supported Housing.

 

Intensive Recovery Team, 318-9260

An intensive case management model that works with adult members from CODAC’s three integrated service sites. This model is based on outreach, rehabilitation, recovery, and a strengths-based perspective and integrates the use of CODAC’s Recovery Support Center.

 


CODAC is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is incorporated in the State of Arizona. The agency’s accounting system is in compliance with federal and State accounting requirements for nonprofit organizations. An independent financial and compliance audit is conducted at the end of each fiscal year (July 1 through June 30) and forwarded to funding sources upon completion.
