Member Advisory Council
There are many positive effects of being involved in your community: from stress reduction to promoting personal growth and self-esteem.
Attending the Member Advisory Council is another great way to play an active role in your care and community at CODAC. When you come, you can provide solution-focused feedback about services at CODAC. You can also sign up to join staff at advocacy and community outreach events.
Generally, Member Advisory Council meetings take place on the third Tuesday of each month from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The location rotates each month. Here is the schedule of upcoming meetings.
JANUARY: January 15 | CODAC at Fontana Plaza | 1650 E. Ft. Lowell Rd. NOTE: This is a special MAC -- instead of a regular meeting, this is a free First Aid and CPR training for CODAC members. It starts at 11:00am. If you would like to attend, please email Liliane Armstrong at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Member Advisory Council adheres to a strict confidentiality policy. The policy states that all members will not share information about staff or members to anyone outside of meetings. This private information includes sensitive topics regarding culture as well as verbal and written communication. Breaches of confidentiality constitutes a serious breach of professional obligations, and can result in instant dismissal from the meeting.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for members to be involved and play an active role in impacting their services at CODAC.” – Tippy Atkins, Recovery Support Coordinator
