CODAC is honored to have been awarded $40,000 from the Governor’s Office, through the Arizona Foundation for Human Service Providers!! The funding will cover the costs of providing Peer Support Specialist Certification Trainings. We will be able to provide up to six trainings for at least 10 individuals for the next two years!! CODAC’s Peer Support Specialist Certification training is offered at no cost to CODAC staff and members. “Our hope is that CODAC’s peer staff will feel better equipped to provide peer services and feel more satisfied when interacting with members,” says Nora Navarro-Hernandez, CODAC Sr. VP of Compliance and Outcomes. “Additionally, the Certification helps members in recovery have greater potential for finding meaningful employment,” she continues. And... the flu, RSV, other bad colds and sinus issues are pretty darn prevalent right now. MASK UP and get your vaccines and boosters.
