An update on Pima County's free COVID-19 testing sites

With the start of the Spring 2021 Semester, drive-thru testing sites operated by ASU at Pima Community College locations have reopened. Times and locations remain the same as they were before. Appointments are required and can be scheduled at pima.gov/covid19testing.

Additionally, the location of COVID-19 testing in downtown testing has changed. Testing has moved to Tucson Electric Power’s (TEP) parking lot on the south side of the building. That is, the parking lot on the northwest corner of S. 6th Ave. and E. 12th St. The lot is immediately south of 88 E. Broadway Blvd. The hours are 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Appointments are required and can be scheduled at pima.gov/covid19testing.

Finally, one of our laboratory partners has announced they will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This impacts the following testing locations only:

• Kino Event Center, 2805 E. Ajo Way
• TEP/Downtown Tucson, parking lot immediately south of 88 E. Broadway Blvd.
• Udall Center, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Rd.

There is also a vaccine to prevent human papillomavirus, or HPV, infections, which is one of the most common causes of cervical cancer. The more you know, the better.

Bring awareness to cervical cancer this month by scheduling a screening test and make sure you and your loved ones have received the HPV Vaccine! If you're a CODAC member, you can schedule a screening at CODAC!
