Intern & Volunteer
Internship Opportunities
The purpose of CODAC’s internship program is to assist students (currently attending or who have graduated from an accredited educational institution) in completing their internships with ease.
CODAC has a limited number of internships available each year, depending on the intern’s availability, the internship requirements and the level and type of degree the intern is working toward.
Internships are only offered to individuals completing an academic program that requires an internship. The intern is supervised and is expected to engage in the entire range of professional activities that are expected of a professional.
CODAC provides a standardized internship practice that meets the Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the Department of Labor (DOL) and CODAC guidelines.
Degree Levels
There are different types of internships, depending on:
- Your age: minimum 18 years of age for administrative, non-treatment providing internships and minimum of 21 years of age for internships that include member interaction.
- The level and type of degree you are working on obtaining or have acquired.
Levels for both clinical and administrative degrees include:
- Certification Programs
- Associate Degrees
- Bachelor Degrees
- Master Degrees
*CODAC does not offer internships for court-required community service hours.
