CODAC Health, Recovery & Wellness Announces New Clinical Operations Directors

Pete Rehrmann, LAC, BHP, MAC – Promoted to Clinical Operations Director at CODAC at Cobblestone Court

Pete Rehrmann is an authentic and empowering leader with over two decades of experience helping people and organizations achieve their goals through compassion, skilled leadership and a forward-thinking vision. He is passionate about inspiring creativity and delivering high-quality results, with a focus on empowering individuals on their journey to recovery from mental illness and substance misuse. Rehrmann has proven himself as a catalyst for healthy change and a bridge-builder for team success.

Throughout his career, Rehrmann has served in a variety of supervisory roles, demonstrating his ability to nurture consistency, accountability, and results-driven service. He was most recently the supervisor of Outpatient Clinical Services at CODAC at Cobblestone Court where he will continue as clinical operations director. Prior to joining CODAC, Rehrmann was a therapist at Renewal Centers, Inc., founder and president of Holy Cross Church for 14 years, executive director of Footbridge Counseling, LLC, amongst other leadership positions. “Pete’s ability to improve efficiency and foster a collaborative work environment are invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate,” adds Roxanna Gonzalez, MA, LISAC, LAC, Vice President of Clinical Operations.

His educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Divinity, both from Phoenix Seminary in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, Rehrmann has completed specialized leadership training through a 15-month cohort program. He is a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona, with expertise in areas such as substance use therapy, marriage and family therapy, trauma recovery, and crisis de-escalation.

Sarah Herndon, MSW, LCSW-S – Newly hired as Clinical Operations Director at CODAC at Speedway

Sarah Herndon, MSW, LCSW-S, is an experienced behavioral healthcare practitioner and leader with a background in behavioral health, social work and program management. Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor and has provided direct care and management in integrated community behavioral health settings as well as physical health settings.

Herndon most recently served as the Executive Director of Entune Behavioral Health where she supervised a team of 50 direct reports. She prioritizes strong communication, quality care, compliance, streamlining operations, and driving financial success. With over a decade of experience, she has held other key clinical and leadership roles, including Director of Therapy Services and Manager of Social Work Services, overseeing quality initiatives, staff development, and service delivery across diverse populations.

“Becoming a licensed clinical social worker was a carefully considered goal for me,” Herndon says. “It was driven by a desire to give back to my community and support individuals in discussing topics that are often difficult to address, such as infertility and chronic and terminal healthcare conditions. Providing practical, tangible tools and holding space for individuals has been incredibly rewarding for me,” she adds.

Herndon’s passion for people is evident not only in her career experience, but also in her volunteer service in the community, such as her role as Vice President of Southern Arizona Against Slavery and member of the Behavioral Health Refugee & Immigrant Service Providers network. She also volunteers at the Pima Animal Care Center and mentors future social workers through Arizona State University’s Masters of Social Work program.
Herndon earned her Masters of Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University.
